Hi, I’m Daniel Kang — CTO and cofounder of Skool. I’ve been programming since I was 13, and I’m obsessed with building elegant, scalable systems that empower people to learn, share, and connect at scale. At Skool, my mission is to create technology that feels simple on the surface, yet powerful enough to shape how communities grow.

Outside of technical architecture, I find creative balance in literature and music. As a lifelong reader of Haruki Murakami and Paulo Coelho, I am drawn to narratives that explore depth and introspection. Similarly, my practice as a pianist allows me to explore the nuances of composition and craft through a medium that transcends code.
